These days, everyone feels disconnected. Most of our human interactions are limited to brief email replies and messages on screens. It can be easy to fall out of touch with the people around us.
The good news is, it doesn't have to be this way! Technology is what you make it. On one hand, it can reduce the need for face-to-face contact and leads to people feeling disconnected. On the other hand, when used correctly, it allows for smooth communication and friendly, lasting relationships with your customers. Customize Your Payment Portal
Paythepoolman has released a payment portal, which customers can access via a link in their invoice emails. This portal isn't just for paying outstanding balances, but also acts as a record book for customers to look back on past invoices, services, and bids.
All these numbers can be intimidating... make them more friendly by utilizing the customization features on this page! Upload a high-resolution image of your logo and a brief welcome message to let your customer know they are in the right place. You also have the option to show them the human being behind their pool service by sharing a short video!
Upload a Profile Picture for Electronic Door Hangers
Make sure to toggle on the "use tech's profile picture on door hangers" button in Employee Permissions. When you or one of your techs add a profile picture to the Plus app, it will then automatically be included in each electronic door-hanger you send! Including a profile picture adds a touch of personality that will remind your customer of the person behind the screen.
Include Photos in Your Reports
The Paythepoolman Plus app allows techs to add up to five photos and/or videos showing off the service they completed. On the days when you don't see your customers in person, make sure to upload clear evidence of your hard work. Maybe even throw in a selfie at the end, so they know you were there!
Befriend the Pets
(make sure to get an owner's explicit permission before feeding any animal any treat) They say animals show us who we can trust. If your customer's dog loves you, there's a good chance they do too! Build a friendship with your favorite pool pooches by keeping your pockets full of treats and your hands full of pets. Always approach the gate with a friendly demeanor, acknowledge the dog, and make sure they know you are here to give them cookies and/or ear scratches.
Activate Pool Junction
Build transparency and trust with our customer-facing Pool Junction app, where your customers will be able to quickly access their detailed account information. By enabling Pool Junction, you can offer one convenient location to pay invoices, track expenses, view door hangers, check on bid statuses, and more! For the customer full of questions, Pool Junction is a hub for answers!
